ACCOLADES
Based at Outeniqua High School, this powerhouse band has become a cornerstone of the school’s music program and a beloved fixture along the Garden Route. Known for their electrifying performances, they’ve taken the stage at top festivals like the KKNK Festival, National Jazz Festival Makhanda, MosJazz, and Artscape Youth Jazz, leaving audiences buzzing with excitement.
In 2024, they stole the show, clinching the Schools Category at the Stellenbosch University National Ensemble Competition (SUNEC) and showcasing their skills at the SA Association for Jazz Education Conference. Adding to their accolades, two band members made history in 2023 as the first Garden Route students selected for the National Schools Jazz Band, proving this group is a breeding ground for rising stars.
